MANUFACTURING CAPABILITY
Built around controlled manufacturing, not catalogue claims.
HHSV manufactures safety and pressure-relief valves through controlled material inspection, machining, assembly, performance testing and document release. The production route is adjusted to the approved valve configuration and project requirements.

MANUFACTURING SCOPE
Three linked controls from metal to release.
Machining capacity matters only when material identity, assembly status, test results and final records remain connected to the supplied valve.
01
Machining
CNC and conventional equipment support repeatable pressure-boundary and trim-component machining.
- CNC machining centers and lathes
- Milling, drilling and grinding
- Dimensional checks against approved drawings
02
Assembly
Components are released into assembly only after required material and in-process inspection status is confirmed.
- Controlled BOM and configuration
- Spring, trim and sealing-component assembly
- Serial-number identification
03
Performance testing
Finished valves are checked against the approved test and certification route before document release.
- Shell and set-pressure tests
- Reseating and seat-leakage tests
- Third-party witnessing when specified

MACHINING
Component machining and dimensional control
ASSEMBLY
Controlled configuration and build
INSPECTION
Inspection status before release
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Six controlled stages, kept in one desktop row.
The actual inspection and hold points depend on the valve, material, certification and customer-approved ITP.
01
Review
Approved specification, certification scope and document requirements
02
Inspect
Material identity, dimensions and required incoming checks
03
Machine
Pressure parts, trim and connections to the approved drawing
04
Assemble
Controlled BOM, spring, trim, sealing parts and serial number
05
Test
Shell, set pressure, reseating and seat tightness as applicable
06
Release
Final inspection, MDR documents, packing and shipment records
CAPACITY AND PLANNING
Capacity is planned by material, configuration and inspection route.
HHSV reports annual capacity of 8,000 tonnes and more than 10,000 valve sets per month. Actual order lead time depends on casting or forging availability, special materials, certification scope, document approval and witnessing requirements.
- Material lead time separated from manufacturing time
- Approval and witness points included in the production plan
- Progress reporting tied to agreed milestones
INCOMING MATERIAL
Material control begins before machining
SPECIAL MATERIALS
Material capability is confirmed against the actual service and specification.
Available grades are not a blanket approval for every pressure, temperature or medium. Material selection, casting or forging route, heat treatment, PMI, NDT and certification requirements are reviewed per enquiry.
- Carbon steel: WCB
- Low-temperature steel: LCB / LC2
- Alloy steel: WC6 / WC9
- Stainless steel: CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M
- Duplex grades: F51 / F53
- Nickel alloys: Monel and Hastelloy B/C
CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
What can change
- Pressure, temperature and backpressure configuration
- Body, trim, bellows and sealing materials
- Flanged, threaded, welded and project-specific connections
- Jacketed, cryogenic, clean-service and difficult-service details
- Inspection, witnessing, marking and documentation scope
FINAL INSPECTION
Release requires product and document status
DELIVERY EVIDENCE
The manufacturing result must remain traceable after shipment.
Depending on the order, the delivery package can include material certificates, heat-number and serial-number records, inspection reports, test results, certificates of conformity, approved drawings and the MDR index.
- MTC, PMI and NDT records where specified
- Shell, set-pressure, reseating and seat-leakage reports
- QAP / ITP and third-party witness records
- Controlled drawings, certificates and shipping documents
MANUFACTURING REVIEW
Send the valve specification, service data and required inspection route.
HHSV will identify missing inputs, material constraints, approval documents, testing requirements and a workable production schedule.
